The entangled photons, along with academic research on the fundamental characteristics of quantum mechanics, are being used as key resources for the implementation of quantum information technology. Through the interaction of laser light with nonlinear crystals, SPDC is the most reliable and well-established method for producing heralded single photons and entangled photon pairs. This seminar will provide a comprehensive introduction to the creation and utilization of SPDC-based tangled photon pairs. 

In detail, introduce the present state of the technology related to photon pair generation and examples of applications, the characteristics and utilization plans of the type and phase matching type of the nonlinear crystal that generates the photon pair, and the experimental element technology that should be considered when generating the photon pair and implementing the entangled state.
