* 박사자격시험은 매년 1월, 7월에 시행하며, 기한 이내 합격하지 못하면 제적됨 *
1. 박사자격시험 대상
1) 2008년 이전 입학한 박사과정학생 – 3년 이내 응시
2015년 12월 현재 박사자격시험 미 응시자로서 박사과정 2학기이상 재학 및 3과목
이상 수강한 학생(해당 학생이 2학기째 이수중에 실시하는 자격시험은 응시할 수 있음)
2) 2009년 이후 입학한 박사과정학생 – 1년6개월 이내 응시
*전과한 학생의 경우 전과한 학기로부터 3학기 내 현 소속 학과의 자격시험에 합격하여야 함.
(이전 학과의 합격여부와는 관계 없음)

title : Ph.D. Qualifying Examination in July 2021
1. Who?
1) Doctoral Students who entered the KAIST in or before 2008
– Application within three years after entrance
– Doctoral Students who have not yet taken Ph.D. Qualifying Exam.
– Doctoral Students who have registered more than two semesters taking at least three classes
2) Doctoral Students who entered the KAIST in or after 2009
– Application within one and a half years after entrance
* Students who have transferred must pass the qualification wxam of the current department within three semesters from the transferred semester.
2. When?
1) Application forms must be submitted to administrative office of the School of Electrical Engineering
Submission period: June 14(Mon) ~ 25(Fri)

2) Evaluation of Ph. D Qualifying Exam. is being done in the middle of July. 2021.
3) Qualified candidates will be announced at the end of July. 2021.
