Academic Reinstatement for the 2014 Spring Semester
Academic Reinstatement for the 2014 Spring Semester
Students expected to return to school 2014 Spring Semester must submit a reinstatement application form
during the designated period (Wednesday, January 8, 2014 – Thursday, January 14, 2014).
The students should register for courses during the same period, and pay tuition fees
during 2014 Spring semester registration period(Monday, February 3, 2014 – Friday, February 7, 2014).
(According to the Academic Rules and Regulation Section 4, Article 34, returning students failing to register
or to pay their tuition fees during the registration period are subject to dismissal from their program.)
* 2014 Spring Semester begins on Monday, March 3

Guidance on Issuance of Certificate for Undergraduate Students Who Failed to Meet English Requirements
We are notifying details concerning the issuance of the certificate for undergraduate students who entered the university after1998 and obtained 130 credits or more, but failed to meet the English requirement(TOEFL iBT score over 83 points, etc). Please advise on this for the qualified students who want to get the certificate. – Details- A. Target Students who entered the university after 1998 and obtained more than 130 credits including 9AU in physical education and voluntary service (those who have satisfied the requirement for undergraduate course work), but failed to meet the English requirements.
B. Certificate Issuance Procedure Fill out the attached Application for Issuance of Certificate (applicant) -> Approval of Adviser and Department Head/ Professor Responsible (If necessary, confirmation is available at corresponding department/division.) (Department/Major) -> Approval of Dean of Academic Affairs and Issuance (Office of Academic Affairs/ Registrar Team)
C. Application Period: Jul. 8 (Monday)~Jul. 12 (Friday), 2013 D. Issuance Fee: 500 KRW/per copy E. Benefits for the Students Who Obtain the Certificate – Corresponding students do not register for classes,and they will be exempt from tuition and supporting fees. – If corresponding student will meet the English requirement without enrollment period, he/she can receive bachelor degree on the graduation date after undergoing necessary procedure including review of each department/division. – The Office of Academic Affairs (Registrar Team) will notify the list of the students who have received the certificate to the corresponding colleges, and the corresponding colleges will consult it for the evaluations including the one for graduation. |
2014 FDC will be opened only on Fall semester.
1. During the year 2014, the subject “Introduction to Design and Communication (FDC)” will be opened only on fall semester. It won’t be opened on 2014 spring semester due to the course professor’s sabbatical leave. 2. If there are any undergraduate students who haven’t taken this course among those who entered in 2011 or before, and are considering graduation on 2014 February or August, they must take this course on 2013 spring semester.
