In the 2019 Spring Semester, KAIST EE Colloquium Lecture Series will be reopened.

Including School of Electrical Engineering Professors from KAIST, esteemed speakers featuring diverse expertises will provide insights from their own professional knowlege and experiences.

Thursday, March 7th @ 4pm, please participate in our first Colloquium this spring.

CES 2019 Visitor Recruitment(Before 9am Sep 6th)

We are looking for CES 2019 Las Vegas exhibition visitors to our undergraduate students.
The Consumer Technology Association (CES) is known as “the largest consumer electronics exhibition on the planet.”
If you are interested in participating in the program, please refer to the image below and indivisually apply for it by 9:00 am September 6 (Thu).

 

  • Eligibility: EE undergraduate students in 3rd, 4th grade with exceptional curiosity and enthusiasm in the implementation / commercialization / commercialization of high-tech
  • Support: Fully funded (airfare, accommodation, registration)
  • Conditions: Team report and presentation

CES 2019 참가신청안내(확정)

Yunho Hwang, ILSOO and Minhwa Lee Scholarship Announcement

This is an announcement for the Yunho Hwang, ILSOO and Minhwa Lee scholarship.

Students who want to apply for the scholarship should complete the application form and submit it to the department office (042-350-3403,  parkhy@kaist.ac.kr) by 31st (Fri) August 2018.

1. Yunho Hwang Scholarship: Undergraduate students with outstanding academic achievement and undergraduate students in financial hardship

   – Number of Offer: 2 students

   – Amount of Scholarship: 500,000 KRW for each selected student

2. ILSOO Scholarship: MS/PhD students who are highly motivated in academics (Priority given to students in financial hardship)

   – Number of Offer: 2 students

   – Amount of Scholarship: 500,000 KRW for each selected student   

3. Minhwa Lee Scholarship: Undergraduate/MS/PhD student with outstanding academic achievement and who is highly motivated in research (Priority given to students in financial hardship)

   – Number of Offer: 1 student

   – Amount of Scholarship: 500,000 KRW

    School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology (GaTech, ECE)

Application Deadline: No later than 24:00 July 22, 2018

Eligibility

  • Students in School of Electrical Engineering Sophomore (EE Students in 3rd year or higher can apply in principle)
  • GPA above 3.5/4.3
  • English proficiency test scores higher than following(Scored within 2 years): TOEFL PBT 560, CBT 220, IBT 83 / TOEIC 720 / TEPS 599 (Or similar or better English proficiency can be proved by documents)

Degree Requirements:

Participating students shall complete at their home institution and host institution approximately 2 years

(At least 4 semesters), fulfill graduation requirements of each institution.

※ This program cannot guarantee one’s graduation in 4 years, studying semesters can differ from student.

In cases that you need approval from the Dean due to changes in academic status 

(such as Minor or Double Major Application/Cancellation, Application for Honor Student Program, Course Add/Drop Application , etc.),

students should obtain approval from the advisor first and then submit the relevant documents  to the EE office (#1212, E3-2).
