Dr. Jihyong Oh(Advisor: Munchurl Kim) appointed as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film, Chung-Ang Univ.
Dr. Jihyong Oh (Advisor: Munchurl Kim), a graduate of School of EE, was appointed as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film, Chung-Ang University on September 1, 2023.
Dr. Jihyong Oh received Bachelor’s Master’s and Ph.D. degrees all from School of Electrical Engineering. After receiving his Ph.D. degree in March 2023, he has continued his research work at the Prof. Munchurl Kim’ lab as a postdoctoral researcher.
Dr. Jihyung Oh has actively conducted computer vision research during his doctoral course, published a number of papers in internationally renowned academic journals and academic conferences such as IEEE TCSVT / ICCV, ECCV and AAAI, and had a research internship at Meta (Facebook) in Silicon Valley, USA.
His main research is in the fields of image generation, restoration and quality enhancement using generative AI.
