This talk gives a general introduction including the current challenges for automotive security and privacy. Additionally, to the market, legislation on smart & autonomous vehicles requests new protection mechanisms for the whole vehicle lifespan. In this talk, approaches to prevent vulnerabilities, detect animals in the fleet and react on incidents/ vulnerabilities are described to achieve a lifespan protection. It also points out which role crypto agility and SW updates over the air will play in this scenario.This talk will also introduce hiring information about Continental worldwide.
She received her Ph.D. degree in School of Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2008. She is a specialist in Automotive Security & Privacy, Security & Privacy Competence Center, Corporate Systems and Technology, Continental Teves AG & Co. oHG. She is also a senior IEEE member and served as a Committee member of the Singapore Chapter of the IEEE Circuit and System, and has been a program committee member of various reputable conferences including ASP-DAC 2016, 2018, CPSS 2018, FPT-2013, 2014, and etc. Her current research interests include automotive security and cybersecurity.
