Qualcomm Innovation Awards is a research paper contest sponsored by the donations from Qualcomm (3rd year since its foundation).
In 2016, rules are changed to award 5,000,000 KRW to qualified 10 graduate student teams from paper contests and 10 undergraduate student teams for realizing and demonstrating embedded systems.
From the 1st-stage evaluation, only 4 teams in embedded system category (undergraduate students) are qualified for the awards, and after the 2nd-stage evaluation in the summer, 2 teams are awarded in September.
Undergraduate student Jin-Ho Park of the School of Electrical Engineering received the award with the topic titled “Wireless Healthcare System for ECG Monitoring.”
