EE professor Joo-Young Kim receives the Science and ICT Minister’s Award
Professor Joo-Young Kim has won the Science and ICT Minister’s award on December 12th at the 2022 Future AI Semiconductor Technology Conference, held at the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, Pangyo.
Professor Kim was recognized for his contribution within the artificial intelligence semiconductor industry.
Professor Kim’s works within the field include the national research and development of AI processors and PIM semiconductor technologies, as well as fostering future semiconductor engineers and contributing to fabless ecosystems.
Recently, he is actively researching AI semiconductors and hybrid memory-logic PIM semiconductors, for the application in large AI models.
