Q. Please introduce yourself.
A. Hello, my name is Kuk-hyun Han and I am the Senior Vice President of Samyoung Machinery. Currently, I work as both the COO and the Head of Research. I received my bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering in KAIST and worked at Samsung Electronics for 10 years shortly after my Ph.D. During my time in Samsung, I was lucky enough to work at the MIT Media Lab for a year as a Visiting Scientist on dispatch duty and spent 3 years, starting from 2010, in Silicon Valley to start a new UX Center as the project head. After the successful construction of the UX Center, I returned to Korea and joined Samyoung Machinery. Since my field of business has changed again, I am learning the trade to cultivate a world class company.
