A continuously growing need for inventors is the protection of their rights over their intellectual properties and technical developments they made. The people who deal with these issues and protect these specific rights are patent lawyers. With the technologically advanced society that we have, patent lawyers specialized in technical patents have always been of interest to a myriad of people, from startups to international conglomerates. In this spring issue of the EE Newsletter, we interviewed a fellow alumni who does just that.

A. Hello, my name is Won Ki Cho and I graduated with the class of ’01. After graduating in2009, I passed the patent attorney examination and have been working for S&IP patent offices since 2010.
