신승원 교수 연구실에서 수행하고 있는 SDN 보안 프로젝트 DELTA가 세계 최대 보안컨퍼런스인 BlackHat USA 의 Arsenal 에 발표되었습니다.
BlackHat USA는 해마다 Las Vegas 에서 개최되는 세계 최대의 보안컨퍼런스이며, Arsenal 행사는 그 중 대표적인 보안관련 open source tool 들을 선정하여 총 10개의 booth 에서 참석자들에게 실시간으로 tool을 소개하고 시연하는 행사입니다.
DELTA 프로젝트는 세계 최대 SDN 표준 단체인 Open Networking Foundation에서 소속된 open source SDN 프로젝트로 등록되어 있으며, KAIST에서 전체 프로젝트를 주도하고 영국의 Queen’s University 연구진 등이 공동으로 참여하고 있습니다.

김용대 교수의 자율주행차 관련 연구 결과가 하드웨어 보안 전문 학회인 CHES 2017에 채택되었습니다.
(CHES: IACR Conference on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems)
이 연구결과는 외부광원을 이용하여 시판중인 라이더(LiDAR) 센서에 대한 임의 거리의 허상 생성, 물체 감지기능 불능화 등이 가능함을 실험적으로 입증한 것으로써, 실험에는 메이저 차량용 라이더 제조사인 벨로다인의 최신 라이더 제품이 사용되었습니다.
