Professor Yang Kyounghoon has been awarded the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology General Prize in the <Research Innovation Section> of the ‘Nano-Korea 2008’.

KAIST professor Yang Kyounghoon is awarded the general prize for research on ‘Practical usage technology on next generation quantum effect nano-devices: Resonant tunnel diode integrated circuit’. Prof. Yang has been highly recognized for research results on resonant tunnel diode integrated circuits in possessing strong potentials for industrial use as next generation electronic devices. ‘Nano-Korea 2008’ is an event to select and encourage domestic corporations and individuals who have made commitment in the nano industrial and research area through a highly selective process, where 6 corporations in the industry section, and 5 researchers in the research innovation section are awarded for taking nano-korea competitiveness to the next step.
