Prof. Byung Jin Cho’s research lab was awarded the 2015 Minister Commendation for Best National R&D Achievement by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning on October 15th, out of a hundred potential candidates.

 

The research achievement in question is the ‘wearable thermoelectric generator’ and was evaluated as the most outstanding research achievement in terms of technological accomplishments and impact on creative economy.

Polymer Light-Emitting Technology from Prof. Kyung Cheol Choi's Research Team – Press Release and Publication

A polymer light-emitting display source technology was developed by the research team led by Prof. Kyung Cheol Choi and has been covered by numerous domestic and international news outlets.

The article in question, titled High Luminance Fiber-Based Polymer Light-Emitting Devices by a Dip-Coating Method” by Ph.D. candidate Seonil Kwon from Prof. Choi’s lab and 6 other coauthors, was published in the September issue of the international journal, Advanced Electronic Materials, and was featured on its cover page.
