ACM SIGCOMM is known as the most authority in the field of computer networking, systems, and its applications. Over the last 24 years, there has not been such a high level paper of qualified work in Korea. We honor him for his valuable research and achievement.

At the SpringSim 2010 Multiconference held in Orlando, FL, USA on the last Apr 11st, the labortory of Tag Gon Kim recevied the first international Bernard P. Zeigler DEVS modeling and aimulation award in the part of commercial DEVS Application.

Track II : Commercial DEVS application

Prof. Soo-Young Lee won the ICA unsupervised learning award at the SPIE defense security sensing conferenc held in the Orlando, USA, on the Apr 7th.

Besides implicit signal seperation clearly shown as its contribution to the related area in this award, the ICA (Independent Component Analysis) is also getting the new technology of the effective feature extraction.
