Graduate Student Representative Committee
Introduction to the Graduate Student Representative Committee
The Graduate Student Council of the School of Electrical Engineering was established in 2023 to revitalize interactions among graduate students that had diminished in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Council organizes and operates a variety of events aimed at promoting academic exchange and networking among graduate students in EE.
Major Events
GSLP (Graduate Student Leadership Program)
The Graduate Student Leadership Program (GSLP) is designed for newly admitted graduate students in the School of Electrical Engineering.
This program aims to foster leadership development and strengthen networking among students entering the graduate program in the same cohort.
It consists of a variety of sessions, including an overview of the School, talks by senior students, and engaging group activities.

REEsearch party
This event consists of two parts:
Part 1 features a seminar presented by Ph.D. graduates who received the School of Electrical Engineering Outstanding Paper Award.
Part 2 is an academic networking session where graduate students from various divisions freely exchange research ideas.

Sweet Networking Lounge
This event invites newly appointed professors as seminar speakers to share their experiences in graduate school and their research activities, followed by a networking session accompanied by sweet desserts.

EE Graduate Futsal Tournament
This is a futsal tournament where teams participate by research lab units.
It is a sports event designed to help students relieve stress by playing futsal in the refreshing autumn weather, stepping away from their usual static research environment.
